Sunday "Fun"day

Today was a really good day - and I'm including 2 incidents that were unfortunate but they had to do with the wrong things sent to me so its not of consequence to post about. 

So, you know why it was a really good day? I spent most of it in Bible study or zooming friends. That was my Funday. I'm relaxed, I'm thankful, I'm content. Though I have technically one more day for my weekend, Im trying to focus on Sunday still being the end of my weekend. Though Monday I don't go into the studio, its still my work from home day. I'll check up on our TIs then work on my writing or doing research for other projects. So today was a good day. 

My weekend as a whole was also good. Im filtering into a part of my life I closed off. But I also believe that God will make things happen at the right time. I can't control His timing but I can be available now. Yes, Im being vague because no I don't share this part of my life with many until there's something real. But I followed through on a few things and got some dust off. 

As I watch now, a favorite made-for-tv movie to end my weekend, im reminded that a "Fun"day doesn't have to be about going out and doing things - it can just be spending time over a computer screen, being reminded about how God loves you unconditionally and how you are never really away from friends in this age of technology.

This pandemic has been hard on many and there are different reactions to it - but I keep being reminded of all our blessings, and have minimized all the negative in my life (including a few people). All we each can do is make sure we are right on the inside, and then use it to help others around us. We can't help everyone but God has equipped us to help some. I know where my limitations are, and when He needs to step in.

So, yeah, a really good weekend. Ready for a short walk in my neighborhood before bed and then starting my work week tomorrow.

The emotional and physical struggle bus

This has not been an easy emotional and physical week. It's only Thursday but it feels like it's been a week and a half. It started Monday morning when I couldn't get out of bed because my back was not happy. I don't know why either because I had slept okay. But I literally couldn't move. My roommate was still out of town so I got very worried that if I couldn't figure out a way to get mobile that I wasn't even gonna be able to get to work. It took an hour and 12 minute. But by 10, I was finally able to move and walk around. I do not know why my back just shut down for that time. What's up with me??? and planning for the future

"Hi, My name is Tiffany Ellen Pereira and I am mistake-prone. My last mistake was this morning." I feel like I should be in mistake AA! Silly, ridiculous mistakes. Not that I haven't made them before but right now they seem to be rampant. I'm working through them every day but I'm tired of making mistakes - and I can't seem to stop them. Last 4 day week, and "Fun July"

Today begins the last of the four day weeks we've had since we first returned from the pandemic closing us down. We started at three days - well, about 2 1/2 days - and have slowly gained more days. Monday, July 12th we go to half day Mondays. Technically, it will be 4 1/2 days for awhile but a full five day work week is just around the corner.  It hasn't been easy but its been cathartic, too. Three day weekends are awesome. You feel like you have time to do your weekly chores AND have down time/fun time. When your business suffers from something so freaky though, having to go to a three day weekend is not always good for business. It is however good for your mental health if you've been overly stressed, whether you know it/knew it or not.  In the past year, this is what has happened in my neck of the woods (brutal honesty here, with vagueness to keep peoples privacy): Both studios shut down for 2 1/2 months completely.
